Adults
An Attachment Perspective
Current research in neurobiology has shown that our brains can actually change structure within the context of secure and safe relationships. This creates profound and lasting change that expands out into all of your relationships. In therapy we co-create a secure relationship which provides the space for the healing you seek.
Adults often come to see me when they are feeling stuck or going through a challenging life change or transition. They may be experiencing mild sadness, anxiety, or dissatisfaction. Others come to therapy in crisis while in significant emotional distress. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, my main goal is to help you find short term relief from your current symptoms, widen your “window of tolerance,” and offer an experience that supports lasting personal growth.
